Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah
Located on a high plateau at the top of the Grand Staircase, Bryce Canyon has the highest concentration of hoodoos - irregular rock columns. While hoodoos can be found on every continent, those in Bryce Canyon National Park have unique stories to tell about weather changes over centuries. The park showcases the natural growth of forests, but only in certain areas, where the availability of shade and moisture reveal the transformation of the landscape over time.
